NBS-Games Manifesto

Lessons learned while founding NBS-Games and navigating the realities of indie game development.

Company vision

Fueled by my successful tests with artificial intelligence, I founded NBS-Games, with the idea of providing good games with premium model without the modern day annoyances like micro-transactions, p2w or other unethical practices comparable to gambling. NBS stands for no bs, meaning a player shouldn’t have to face these kind of monsters where they for example, doesn’t get the full game after buying it (dlc traps). Or that the game contains content that does not fit the game and is put there just to satisfy investors who wants to mega overload the players dopamine receptors for eternity and get all of their money. It is really sad to see this happening in the world today. I as a founder have played p2w-games and know how easy it is to lose track of money. The items can be priced and valued in a way that you have to use money and sometimes a lot of it ´, if a rival suddenly start using money. So you either accept the loss or fight back and get your dopamine fix.

This is one of the reasons I always wanted to develop a game. A Lot of the indie games rock and they are cheap too. With the help of AI, these talented people can recreate what is gaming.

Consistency

Addressing concerning issues in games industry, nbs-games aims to keep the possible sequels original. For this reason certain designs become the signature of the product. Safeguarding these designs is carved into the company values and the brand.

No withholding of technology

The company releases the tools it can to the public shared through the site and Unity asset store for a price. Technology is released after a while, from the game it was used to develop.
